Job Description - Civil Litigation Attorney:
A high-quality firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney with experience in Employment to join our team. As a result, the attorney candidate must have strong litigation experience to be successful.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Handles a broad variety of civil, corporate, and commercial litigation matters.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and legal precedents. Ideal candidates must be Florida barred and must have experience in Federal Court, State Court, EEOC and other federal and state agencies.
- Experience in employment matters including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA and state counterpart litigation.
- Handles litigation cases from inception through resolution, including intake, drafting pleadings, depositions, meditations, and court appearances.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience as a civil trial lawyer.
- Experience in Federal and State Business Court is preferred. Court experience necessary.
- Must have a proven track record in legal research and drafting of pleadings, memos and briefs.
- Strong computer and organization skills required.
- Must bill a minimum 35+ hours a week.
- Existing book of business preferred but not required.
- Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can manage a full case load.
